Privacy Policy

AuraSpend is a private monthly spending planner. It is designed to work without bank login details, card credentials or an external budgeting account.

Information you enter

AuraSpend stores the budget information you choose to enter, such as balances, planned income, expenses, categories, reminders, templates and household sharing state.

Local storage

Your budget is stored on your device by default. AuraSpend does not require an AuraSpend account and does not send your budget to a developer-controlled server.

Optional iCloud backup and household sharing

If you turn on iCloud backup or invite a household member, AuraSpend uses Apple iCloud and CloudKit to store and share the budget data needed for that feature. This is controlled through the Apple ID and iCloud account signed in on the device.

Bank and card credentials

AuraSpend does not ask for, collect or store online banking usernames, passwords, card numbers or bank login credentials.

Analytics and advertising

AuraSpend does not sell your data. This first release does not use third-party advertising trackers.

Support emails

If you contact support, we receive the email address and information you choose to include in your message. Please avoid sending bank credentials or full card numbers in support emails.

Children

AuraSpend is not designed for children and is not intended to knowingly collect information from children.

This policy may be updated as AuraSpend changes. The latest version will be published on this page.
